ARIKA ROUSH | ASSISTANT COACH
Head coach Eric Oakley welcomed former Kent State outfielder Arika Roush to the staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in the fall of 2018. Roush, a Springfield, Ohio native played four years for the Golden Flashes and was part of two Mid-American Conference Championship teams.
Roush saved her best season as a Golden Flash for her last and led the team making 59 starts, all in centerfield. She set the school record with 26 hit by pitches in a season and scored 29 runs. Roush also was a part of the 2015 Golden Flashes team that won 41 games and became the second team in school history to reach the 40 win plateau.
Before working with the Golden Flashes this season Roush was a high school coach for both Kenton Ridge High School and Walsh Jesuit High School.
