CAMP STAFF: Kent State University coaching staff, former and current team members.
CAMP DIRECTORS: Kent State Head coach Karen Linder, Assistant coaches, Kim Burke & Amy Densevich.
LOCATION: The Kent State Field House located on Summit Street beside Dix Stadium.
COST: $45 per camp session

PITCHING CAMP FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 3 - 12
Each pitcher must have her own catcher and a ball.
All catchers, regardless of age, must have a hold harmless/ medical care form signed.

Beginning – For pitchers who are just learning how to pitch and/or need work on basic fastball mechanics and control and have less than one year game experience.
             TIME:  11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Intermediate - For pitchers who need work on their fastball mechanics and control and who want to learn and work on the change-up.
             TIME: 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. or  1:15 – 2:45 p.m.

Advanced - For pitchers who have control of fastball/change-up. This Clinic will allow you the choice of learning or bettering the screw, curve, rise and/or drop.
             TIME: 1:15 – 2:45 p.m.

HITTING/POWER HITTING CAMP FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 8-12

INSTRUCTION: Stresses hitting fundamentals and will focus on drills to help increase power.
              TIME:  11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Pitchers must bring a ball, a glove, and a person to catch.  Hitters should bring a bat if possible, and catchers should bring a glove and catching gear if possible.  Everyone should bring a clean pair of tennis shoes to wear in the Field House.

INSURANCE: Kent State University has purchased insurance for each participant that will cover injury over and above the primary insurance coverage.  A first aid provider will be on duty.  Minor injuries will be treated at Robinson Memorial Hospital.   Each participant and all catchers must have a hold harmless form/ medical care form signed by a parent/ legal guardian in order to participate.  If you register early, one will e-mailed to you.  You may also get the forms off the KSU web page.  In cases of illness or injury, all but the $10 registration fee will be refunded.
