DIRECTOR

CAMP STAFF
KSU Assistants Amy Densevich, Jexx Varner, Don Duffy and current KSU team members.

INSTRUCTION
Pitching, hitting, bunting, base-running, throwing, and fielding.

BRING
Glove, bat, clean tennis shoes to wear in the Field House, and pitchers need to bring a person to catch that is not participating in the camp. Catchers for pitchers must be available from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The catchers must also complete a medical hold harmless form.

LOCATION
Kent State Field House, located next to Dix Stadium

CAMP OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this camp is to provide athletes an opportunity to learn various softball skills from college coaches and players.  Skills to be taught include hitting mechanics; bunting techniques; base-running skills; throwing and fielding; and pitching skills for pitchers. 

INSURANCE
Kent State has purchased insurance for each participant that will cover injury over and above the primary insurance coverage.  These forms can be downloaded from the Kent State Sports Camp web site at www.kentstatesoftballcamps.com.  A first aid provider will be on duty.  Each participant and all catchers must have a hold harmless form and a medical care form in order to participate.  If you must cancel, all but a $10 registration fee will be refunded.
