Kent State Softball Camps
2010 Fastpitch Skills Camp

DATE: TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2010
FOR: GIRLS IN GRADES K– 6
All Kent State camps or clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
TIME:  6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
DIRECTOR: Karen Linder, Kent State head softball coach
CAMP STAFF: KSU Assistants Amy Densevich and Kim Burke and current KSU team members.
INSTRUCTION: Hitting, bunting, base-running, throwing, fielding.
COST: $20    
BRING: Glove, bat, clean shoes to wear in the Field House
LOCATION: Kent State Field House, located next to Dix Stadium (2227 Summit Rd., Kent, OH 44242)

CAMP OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this camp is to provide athletes an opportunity to learn various softball skills from college coaches and players.  Skills to be taught include hitting mechanics; bunting techniques for sacrifice; base-running skills, fielding and throwing.

INSURANCE: Kent State has purchased insurance for each participant that will cover injury over and above the primary insurance coverage.  A first aid provider will be on duty.  Each participant must have a KSU medical form in order to participate.  If you must cancel, all but a $10 registration fee will be refunded.  

CONFIRMATION WILL BE EMAILED UPON RECEIPT OF REGISTRATION.      THE MEDICAL CARE FORM  CAN BE DOWNLOADED HERE.
