KSU SOFTBALL ELITE CAMP

Hosted by the 2010 Mid-American Conference Champions and Coach of the Year
Open to following grad years: 2013, 2014, 2015
Location: KSU Fieldhouse/Allerton Softball Complex
Cost: $85
Registration will end on September 15th-Thursday- at 11:59pm.
The KSU Elite Softball Skills camp is designed for the experienced softball player who is preparing to be a collegiate athlete. You will receive quality instruction as well as the opportunity to showcase your softball skills through drills and competition.
Players will be divided into 8 teams - registration is limited to 18 pitchers, 16 catchers, 18 corners (3B and 1B), 24 middle infielders (SS and 2B), and 25 outfielders.
Schedule:
9:00 – 9:30 Registration
9:30 Introduction
9:45 – 11:30 Offensive Stations for position players – hitting, base running, mental strategies
9:45 – 11:00 Pitching Instruction – bring your own catcher who is not participating in the camp
11:00 – 11:30 Pitchers hit or mental strategies
11:30 – 12:00 Lunch in the field house
12:00 -12:15 Go to Allerton Softball Complex
12:15 – 12:30 Meet with teams
12:30 – 12:50 Throwing
1:00 – 1:50 Games or defensive work
2:00 – 2:50 Games or defensive work
3:00 – 3:50 Games
4:00 – 4:30 Recruiting information session
4:30 Question and answer session

Camp Restrictions:
* Registration is by primary position, you will receive confirmation via email once you are entered into the camp
*Camp is limited to 101 athletes who will be divided into eight teams by positions

Refunds
Your camp fee, less a $10.00 non-refundable administrative fee, will be refunded with out questions if you cancel before September11th, 2011. At any time after that date, a refund less the $10.00 administrative fee will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physicians. If no request is made before camp begins, NO refund will be given, including no-shows.

*Remember that space is very limited, so sign up early!
*All Camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants. The only limiting factors are age of the camper and size of the camp.
*Drills will be conducted in the KSU Fieldhouse on turf & games will be at Allerton Softball Complex on the campus of Kent State University.
*Please note that tennis shoes or turf shoes must be worn in the fieldhouse.
*You will need your own transportation from the Fieldhouse to the Allerton Complex as we will not be responsible for transporting athletes after lunch concludes.
